Resources & Tools

Here you can find some favorite resources and tools for entrepreneurship & empowerment

I’m all about self-education! My thirst for knowledge has been my cornerstone for entrepreneurship, as both my formal and informal education have gotten me to where I am today. That’s why I want to share some of my favorite resources with you, as a way to pay it forward.

The Freedom Hacker’s Mastermind: Facebook.com

This is probably my favorite business Facebook group that I’m a part of (other than my own, of course!), because of how ingenious the content and collaboration is. This is a group that is designed for entrepreneurs with online-based businesses and is great for someone in any stage of business, whether you launched yesterday or are a seasoned vet. They run daily themes that allow you to promote your work, help others, and find connections for people you may want to hire or outsource to.

Luckily, career guru Lydia Lee is here to help you to do just that, specifically with this free video series, but also with her other great webinars, podcasts, and courses through Screw The Cubicle.

You Are A Badass: How To Stop Doubting Your Greatness And Start Living An Awesome Life: Amazon

Required reading for all! One of the best books I’ve ever read on empowerment, with a focus on how your subconscious mind sabotages you.  Jen Sincero is one of the coaches that has inspired my own work.

Self-Compassion Guided Meditations From Dr. Kristin Neff: Self-compassion.org

These guided meditations and companion exercises will help you to get in touch with your inner-self. This series is centered in noticing without judgement, to get to intimately understand your psyche, without shame. The meditations are complete within themselves, but also great to do in a series.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: myersbriggs.org

“It is up to each person to recognize his or her true preferences.”- Isabel Briggs Myers

Although this may not be a tool you’d typically hear about in relation to empowerment, I believe fully knowing and accepting yourself is crucial to creating any type of self-esteem. That’s why I am a big fan of tests like this, that can show you what personality type you embody, and also make you aware of your strengths and weaknesses. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a highly esteemed personality test by psychologists, so you can trust that this is not just another phony personality quiz.

Understanding what is happening energetically in our world and universe can help us to tap into our own emotional impulses. That is the foundation of Lee Harris’ energy channeling, a gift of which he has used to inspire millions. He creates energy forecasts for his YouTube channel, which are a great way to understand how what you’re feeling is connected to the higher energies of the universe. Remember, you are not alone.
